SA Analytical
Strategy workshops for foundations, NGOs & global non-profits

Too many priorities.
One shared strategy.

Most strategy retreats produce good conversation and no decisions. We pair expert facilitation with rigorous analysis of your programme and impact, so your board and executive team leave aligned on the mission, focused, and clear on what to do next.

Ekci Suyapno founded SA Analytical to close a gap she saw repeatedly over fifteen years in international development: the distance between what the evidence says and what organizations are able to agree on. In complex humanitarian and development contexts across Myanmar and the Middle East, she coordinated multi-sector assessments, trained teams who carried them out, led the analysis, and then brought the findings back to the table to facilitate multi-stakeholder strategy. She worked with government bodies, UN agencies, international organizations, and local communities, often in frontline environments where decisions couldn't wait. Few people have been on both sides of that process: building the evidence and getting a room full of competing mandates to act on it. Through SA Analytical, she brings that full cycle to board members and executive teams, designing data-backed decision processes that produce multi-stakeholder alignment and a defensible strategy leaders can stand behind.

Sound familiar?

Organisations typically bring us in when their programmes have outgrown their strategy, and the board, executive team and staff are pulled in too many directions and need to get everyone pointed the same way.

“We’re stretched across too many programmes and can’t say what we won’t do.”

Mission focus

“Our board and staff see our strategy differently.”

Board–staff alignment

“We have data, but it doesn’t drive our decisions.”

Evidence-led decisions

“We have a strategic plan nobody uses.”

Severe crises. Silent headlines.

Our Neglect Tracker compares how severe each humanitarian crisis is with how much global news attention it receives. It is the kind of evidence we bring into the room before priorities are set.

  • 67 countries with a crisis
  • Severity vs. media attention shows where suffering is high and coverage is low
  • Humanitarian funding coverage from the global humanitarian financial tracking service alongside every country
